About

Moregan

Moregan’s career has included emergency-room crisis care, outpatient therapy, clinical supervision, and teaching future social workers. She earned her Master of Social Work at Saginaw Valley State University and has spent much of her career helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.

‍

Her experience across these settings shapes her appreciation for the different challenges people bring to therapy. She works from a collaborative, trauma-informed perspective and integrates EMDR and other evidence-based approaches according to each person’s needs.

How I Work

My Approach

We’ll begin by talking about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve tried, and what you hope will change. I draw on approaches including EMDR, CPT, and DBT, and we’ll discuss which options fit your needs. Along the way, we’ll explore patterns, practice skills, and check in on how the work is translating into your daily life. Your feedback helps shape our next steps.

✦  Your Story Matters

I take time to understand your experiences, values, and goals. You are a whole person, and your care should reflect that.

‍

✦  We Work Together

You bring knowledge of your life; I bring clinical experience. Together, we decide what to focus on and which approaches fit your needs.

‍

✦  Trust Takes Time

You don’t have to share everything at once. We’ll make room for honest conversation at a pace we discuss together.

‍

✦  Therapy Should Be Useful

I pair reflection with practical tools, helping you apply what you learn to the emotions, relationships, and challenges of everyday life.
